Work-out day with college family and vlogging!

Yesterday was definitely my highlight of the week! It was absolutely amazing! So Brennan, my friend told us to bring our badminton rackets and sport shoes so that we can work out this week. And we did! After three days of procrastination since we were all so tied up with classes and work.

The five of us waited for Brennan and Jezz to get back from their class since our had ended at 1 and they had an extra class; we watched a movie for a short while and then Brennan made us change into our sports gear; we got dressed and got ready our water bottles and we set off to the sports complex around 3:45 p.m.

Brennan registered us as members since we were gonna visit the sports complex more frequently now. We booked a court for 2 hours,  along the way, my friends and I vlogged some footage with my camera and took some photos as well.

It was fun, working out together and just forget about our busy lives for once. I can't remember the last time I've enjoy a game before right up till now.

We took our photo as well before we played our game.

traditional outfits for the day.

We had a mission Sunday in church today and we had to dress up in our traditional costume. I only got to know of it yesterday but two of my younger sisters had done their shopping and believe me when I say their weren't that cheap, in fact, it costs a bomb. So my mom told me to wear her 'cheongsam' and it fitted me perfectly since I was pretty tall and stuff.

Anyway, I took some pictures today, here you go.

my boyfriend is such a cutie.

gossip girl marathon and lots of photos

Two classes had been cancelled that afternoon, so I got back to my apartment early and I was so bored, I tried reading a book but that only made me feel sleepier.

So my friend Jezz told me she was coming over in 20 minutes and she brought her laptop along, and just like that, we finished the entire season 1 of Gossip Girls. we only ate cookies and an apple each for dinner that day.

shopped, again.

Cotton On was having a four day sale, you get the second item for 50% off, but then again I wanted to save money so I only bought like a thing or two. So I bought another pair of floral shorts,I just couldn't get enough of them because it was so COMFY! I actually bought two floral ones few days ago and I think I'm gonna start a collection of floral shorts soon, in total I think I have 5 of them and STILL COUNTING..

I went to the boy's section to pick out a graphic tee for my boyfriend and trust me, picking out something for someone you really treasure is definitely the best feeling ever.I spent almost 20 mintues going through the shelves finding for the perfect tee and one that was in size Small since he was getting buffer and the last thing he needs is to hide them muscles under a baggy t-shirt. So finally  I picked out a tee that says 'property of San Fran Blvd' which was white in color,

And then, I was back in the girl's section in no time, my eyes caught the sight of a rack of rompers; only two designs had my attention and I wasted no time in trying them on, the first one was a floral design, the shade of the outfit was quite light and the material was so soft, the second one was little darker and the design had the aztec-y feeling to it. I also got a new watch since the old one broke. I was all jumpy when I was paying for my things.

Later on, I dropped H&M and got a little something for my boyfriend's mom since Mother's Day was just in a few days time.

end of classes for the week and surprises.

As all of you have read, I had a pretty depressing week, I still cannot get over the amount of topics I'll be covering this semester for Biotechnology and to be honest, I am not psyched for it. Just yesterday we had to choose a club and there was an exhibition in the University's foyer and none of the clubs had spiked an interest in me, AT ALL.

Jezz wanted to join the Futsal club but I wasn't too keen on it, I signed up with her without paying the member fee so technically we weren't officially gonna be in the club yet but then we came across the Flint club, and the activities they were offering, wow, I think God had somehow made my dreams into reality; I've longed to do some artsy stuff, like musical, be on the television screen all that stuff, and a writer; in this club, there was a mixture of academics and entertainment, I chose talk shows, Broadway and some public speech thing, I was kinda excited for it so we'll see how it goes next week.

So today, I kept checking my watch, I was so desperate to get out of the school just to see my boyfriend who was such a sweetheart, he offered to pick me up directly from school, it was 3 in the afternoon and I was starving, I only had yogurt at 8 a.m. in the morning and then finding out that I woke up for nothing today because my 9 o'clock class has been shifted to 2. Pretty pissed but I went back to sleep again.

I was so happy when I saw my boyfriend's car, as I got into the vehicle, a pretzel was waiting for me on the car seat, like I said I was starving, I ate it all up less than 5 minutes and gave Sebastian two bites. He told me to open the drawer since he needed his smart-tag thingy for the tolls but when I opened it, I found a bouquet of flowers in it and a long note from him, telling me that he had a surprise stashed somewhere in the car.

I couldn't find it at first but then I remembered that there was a small drawer below my seat, I pulled it open and found a wrapped package, and in it were the yellow shades I've been wanting for quite sometime but I thought I didn't need it since I had 3 other pairs but the one he bought me was the one I was eyeing on, project save money for camera, remember?

He drove me to the mall and we had Johnny Rockets as a late lunch, we shared a burger since it was pretty large. We walked around afterwards and I stopped by Cotton On and picked up a pair of floral shorts, there was two graphics tees that had my eye but I decided to spend less, it had pizza's all over it on one tee, and the other had fries all over it. Anyway, we headed to Lovisa, a jewelry store just next door to get something for my mom for the upcoming Mother's Day, we both shared that gift and I'm pretty excited to give it to my mom; fact, my mom adores my boyfriend a lot, treat shim like a son she never had.

As for dessert, our usual tradition after all the exploring, we decided to walk to McDonalds and we got a large iced mocha, was pretty good. I had so much fun just talking my boyfriend in the car, I told him about my week and how eager I was just to get home and stuff, he told me life isn't always easy and there's always ups and downs and we have to face it rather than avoid it and that we're doing our best for our future. He always reminds me that I'm never alone in facing these situations, above all, I think God is really good to me this whole week, I figured I needed to really work harder than I have back in Foundation and learn to toughen up along the way.

A new beginning?

I'm about to begin my first class in Degree of Biotechnology tomorrow. I'm not mentally prepared do the whole mass studying again, partly because of the stress in Science subjects and not eating properly, my University is about an hour's drive from home so my dad is paying for my rental in an apartment that I'm currently sharing, reason is because I pretty much have to wake up REAL early if I chose to stay home and wasted time in travelling to and back from Uni, and considering classes ends at 5 everyday for first semester is pretty tiring for me. My friend Jezzebel has about the same problem as I do and we both really hate staying so far away from home but I'm happy to be able to hangout with her for five schooling days again.

I have a love-hate relationship for the place I'm studying right now; don't get me wrong, I have really good friends, almost family there but it's just that we don't really have such good eatery place there, the food sucks, we mostly cook for dinner and just grab whatever we can for lunch, we either go out of the place occasionally if we didn't have classes the next day or have a late class, or we would just stay back and watch movies until early hours in the morning, we aren't study machines you know. Plus there isn't a mall nearby, no swimming pool or whatever entertainment or sort over there, I like to tell my parents I'm cut off from the human civilization there for 5 days.

So anyway, I still have to pack, another few hours till I leave for the faraway place again, I'm gonna miss my bunny boy, I'm gonna miss our frequent dates, I'll see him every other Friday when he picks me up when I reach the train station and Sundays when we go to church together, or Saturdays if he takes me out. I know he's reading this, I miss you fat boy!

So God help me, I wanna get the scholarship halfway during second year to study abroad for the student exchange program.

My 3 sisters at their sports day, 15'

I was back at my old high school's annual sports day, it was a different stadium this time round. Back in those days, I used to be on the track, winning races after races, medals after medals, in school and inter-school competitions, but this year, I sat back and watch my three little sisters running on the track, I was proud for the fact that they are able to take after where I left off.

My sisters did really well, they were all in it for the races, gobbling banana's after banana's, energy bars and did their warm ups, putting on their spike shoes and then freaking out later,

I also ran a 400m race, under the category of the alumni and got a gold medal. Honestly speaking, I hadn't been training on tracks anymore, my sprinting/glory days were over, now it's all just the normal work outs and trying not to gain too much weight and just studying, My parents were there as well, my mom's an primary international school teacher so she drove us there to the stadium, my dad took a half day off just to see my sisters as well, like he always did back when I was still in high school. My dad also joined the 400m race for the PTA category, didn't win, but I can say my dad was still in good shape, tummy-less.

It was also nice to see my ex high school teachers, I spoke to few of them for a bit, my principal and discipline teacher was so happy to see me, no, not because I got into trouble, it was just that I participated a lot in the school activities.

Some photos I will have them printed out soon,

Adventures with Sebastian

So today I went out with my boo, I had to open a savings account at a bank for some purpose and luckily he was there to drive me and then just stay with me to inquire certain things since he's always the smart/wise one in the relationship.

After that, he took me to a Korean restaurant, K-Pork, funny name but it was so good. I ordered a set meal which consisted of spicy pork, kimchi, mashed potatoes, vege and rice. Sebastian had beef. It was so good and the settings were quite simple and nice, for a moment there I imagined I was in Korea.

As soon as we finished, we went to visit my grandpa. I didn't see him for a week or two and I was so happy to see him earlier; he was much skinnier than before but he is indeed a healthy old man. Grandpa has taught me a lot of things that were worth calling as 'life lessons', I treasure them in my heart till this day and I really appreciate my grandpa for he was always there for me, so I remind myself I should do the same now that he is old.

OF COURSE, I took a load of photos today to remember this day, adventure with my boyfriend, which of course includes a variety of things.

Trip to Hell Conference and FGA's 36th Anniversary

These two days were the highlights of my week. I got to experience God once again and witnessed Him move His mighty hand through a congregation 15,700 people last night or more in the stadium. On the first night, Pastor Philip Mantofa spoke at the evangelistic meeting, his message was so powerful, and from God through the pastor, he led almost 2000 people to the Lord that night, people were able to speak in tongues, people wanted to get baptised, the love of God, back-slidden Christians who want to turn back to Him. His power was so real, I teared up, sobbing when I saw the multitudes of people running towards the stage, wanting, accepting the love that God is giving so freely that night. It was amazing, my heart was so moved, Christianity is not a religion, in fact, it is having a relationship with the one true God.

He does not force us to believe in Him, in the end, everyone makes their own choices, I'm glad I made mine many years ago, these 19 years, God has blessed me tremendously in so many ways, no idol can do such things, it is the supernatural power and spirit of God, and by His grace I am still alive today, my life is in His hands and I will be his servant, his vessel to the people who still has not heard the Good News.

I was happy that my boyfriend's parents came along, his mother is a non-believer and I thank God that she was able to listen to the Word, I could see her heart was moved and touched by the Holy Spirit, as for his father, I am sure that his faith is shaken as well, Sebastian could even speak in tongues that night; he said it just came naturally and he couldn't believe as well. I will still continue to pray for his parents and brothers, I believe God has great plans for each and everyone of us in life, to share the love of Christ wherever we go. My University friend, Brennan, who is Catholic also came that night, he listened attentively and I believe God was stirring his heart when he was worshipping inside his heart.

One the second day, which was today, we had tour 36th Easter celebration , the members from the satellite churches from all over came together to celebrate. The same pastor, Philip Mantofa spok about the new generation--the youth who will lead the nation in the future, there was a prophetic impartation. The moment the pastor just waved a hand over the crowd, every single teenager present fell like the wave, we were slain in the Holy Spirit, the power of God was indeed amazing. God cleanses and washed away our sins, He had died on the cross, so that we may have eternal life with Him if we just believe, living according to His will.

It was also the birthday of on of our founders of our church, We also had a carnival after everything ended, and believe me when a whole stadium is filled, there were tonnes of people in the outdoor area, making it so hard to move, but it was an enjoyable day. I even got to eat the cotton candy I've been craving for quite some time.

Moving Forward as One
